Moriyama sometimes develops textiles in collaboration with experts to create never-before-seen forms. Having studied architecture, Moriyama approaches her creations with an architectural mindset, and her works are indeed like buildings made of light and air. For this project, she used a taut mesh material to create a 12-meter-long art object. In collaboration with a dye artisan's studio in Kyoto, she has created a beautiful gradient that shifts from blue to yellow to orange. A mysterious presence that feels like lingering light floats in the third-floor space of the Tokiwabashi Tower.
