一枚の金属プレートの動きが隣へと伝わり、白い面から金色の面へ、また金色の面から白い面へと次々にひっくり返っていく、動く彫刻作品です。永遠に寄せては返す、海の波のようでもあり、また人から人へと伝播していく情報や感情の流れのようでもあります。
中国の若手として頭角を現し始めたタン・ジエは、石や砂、金属と、テクノロジーを組み合わせた瞑想的な作品を作っています。ここで彼は、自然の摂理や、一つの星の上に起こるゆっくりとした時間の経過を、作品の上に実現しようとしています。

这是一个运动雕塑作品，一块金属板的运动传递到下一块金属板，从白色一面翻转到金色一面，又从金色一面翻转到白色一面，就这样一个接一个地翻转下去。它就这样永远地来来去去，如大海的波浪一般，又如人与人之间传播的信息或情感的流动似的。
作为中国年轻艺术家而崭露头角的汤杰，将石头、砂子、金属与技术相结合，创造出某种冥想式的作品。在这里，他希望在作品上实现自然原理或一颗星球上发生的缓慢的时间流动的过程。

A moving sculpture in which the movement of a single metal plate is transmitted from one plate to the next as it turns over from white to gold and from gold to white in an eternal cycle. It is like the ceaseless waves of the ocean that come and go endlessly, a metaphor for the flow of information and emotions passing from one person to another.
Tang Jie is an emerging talent who creates meditative works fusing stone, sand, metal, and various technologies. Here he aims to portray through his work the providence of nature and the slow passage of time that occurs on our planet as a star within the vast universe.
